Founder
Gergely Koós-Hutás is the founder of Burtland Capital and a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of pan-European fundraising and investment management experience. He spent ten years at leading London-based private equity real estate firms, including Hudson Advisors (Lone Star Funds), Europa Capital Partners and Round Hill Capital. During his tenure as Partner at Adventum Group, he played a pivotal role in transforming the firm from an emerging manager with approximately €400 million in assets under management into a fully established CEE real estate platform managing approximately €1.6 billion across closed-ended and listed structures, with capital sourced from institutional investors across Europe.
His expertise lies in the institutionalisation and scaling of real estate platforms, providing local managers with the governance and structural frameworks necessary to attract growth capital from the UK and Western Europe. Gergely acts as a strategic partner to management teams, guiding them through platform development, investor readiness, and the complexities of cross-border capital raising.
